Born and raised in the Rockies, Ray moved to Jackson Hole to work as a hunting guide and carpenter. He had an interest in real estate and became a licensed real estate agent in 1980. Since then Ray has developed an exceptional career by becoming experienced in many aspects of real estate: resort real estate sales, residential, redevelopment, commercial, commercial leasing, ranch land, and brokerage management. Ray has been active in local leadership of the Teton Board of Realtors and was the president in 2000 and 2001. He was Realtor of the Year in 2000. In 2005 he was elected State president of the Wyoming Association of Realtors. He is currently the president of the MLS-Multiple Listing Service. Locally he served on the Town of Jackson Planning and Zoning Commission for 13 years, serving as chairman 3 different terms; he stepped down in 2007. Ray graduated from Utah State University with a BS in Finance. His interests include fly-fishing, big game hunting, reading biographies on his Kindle, and whitewater rafting.
